Welcome to STEMME UMS, represented in the USA by Centurion Inc, having over 32 years experience in the specialist and military aviation fields (see: www.centurion-usa.com). STEMME UMS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of STEMME AG (Germany), established specifically to cater for specialized utility markets. These markets mainly comprise airborne remote sensing, security, payload delivery, surveillance, communications relay, search and rescue, and information transfer. Employing the most up-to-date systems available, on our highly sophisticated airborne platforms (whether manned or un-manned), assures our customers of successful results in meeting their objectives.

Core characteristics designed into every tailor-made platform, are modular aircraft and payload carrier (fixed or Nato-rail) designs, which are then matched to the numerous types of sensors and payloads available for the required field of application. One such example is the STEMME "ARTIS" (Aerial Real Time Intelligence and Surveillance) application, widely regarded as one of the most sophisticated systems of its type worldwide, now on offer to our customers. Our approach offers low initial purchase costs, low operational running costs, and high rates of success with regard to on-the-job performance: Our designs and solutions are "results-orientated"!

We will be introducing an ever expanding range of highly specialized new products into the USA market - a family of aircraft based on the comprehensive field experience gained with the STEMME S10-VT and S10-VTX aircraft. These products all incorporate over 20 years operational experience in the use of new technologies such as mid-plane engine, low drag, and full composite structures, together with low noise emissions, and "stealthy" platforms.

From this foundation, STEMME UMS will meet the future needs of the "information century" step-by-step, from low-cost light aircraft to intelligent HALE UAV's.

STEMME UMS has thus laid the foundations to become a leading World manufacturer of DUAL MODE unmanned and manned aerial platforms for widespread applications, viz:

  • STEMME UMS focuses on the 1-tonne class, single-engine aircraft with high performance and stealth features; one of the expected "hot spot" areas of UAV requirements in the future.
• STEMME UMS platforms are unique in that they are specially designed and certified to be used in DUAL MODE for unmanned as well as manned operations, in one single aircraft!
• STEMME UMS is developing the technologically advanced flight control system known as LAPAZ, for high-precision flight-path missions, with the capability for fully-automated take-off and landing. Reliability standards are expected to not only comply with, but exceed, future EASA rules for unmanned operations.
• STEMME UMS aircraft, in combination with LAPAZ will provide platforms that, in the next development phase will be capable of unmanned missions, as well as DUCAP (Dual Mode Control Aerial Platform) missions.
